The Uplevel gateway captures multiple log streams that are useful for routine operations, security investigations, and compliance audits. The volumes and durations vary by log type and by site activity.
Where to look in the Portal
- Firewall events — Portal › Firewall log views, with detailed retention behaviour described in Firewall Log Retention.
- Device connection history — Portal › Devices, with per-device last-seen timestamps; see Understanding the Devices Page.
- Alert history — accessible from each customer’s site; see Email Notifications and Alerts.
Compliance use cases

Exporting logs
If a compliance review or incident investigation requires logs outside the standard Portal retention window, contact Uplevel support. We can provide longer-horizon exports from our backend archive — the same archive used for the disaster recovery flow.
